This training course is for operations of telescopic materials handler under 3 tonnes capacity. It has a duration of 3 days including the assessment in both written and performance parts. RIIHAN309F 

About the course

This course is designed for participants to gain the necessary skills to plan, prepare and complete operations on a Telescopic materials handler, also known as a “Telehandler” less than 3 tonnes capacity. On completion of this course participants will be able to conduct routine checks; plan work; check controls, operate and shut down a Telehandler.

The duration of this course is 3 days and the training is conducted at our premises but we can also arrange training and assessment at the client's premises where all required conditions are met.

While training on our premises you will have access to free Wi-Fi, sunscreen, use of our helmets and gloves. We also have a filtered water bubbler onsite to keep you hydrated. There are also multiple local cafes in the area.

Who is eligible?

Participants need to be over 18 years of age, must meet the basic required language, literacy, and numeracy levels (LLN), be able to produce 100 points of ID with current NSW address, be able to obtain a USI and be able-bodied in order to move around and work with other staff.

Payments

Fees and Charges:  

This course attracts a fee of $750.00 per participant and is GST-exempt. These fees cover all training, assessment, use of machinery/equipment, stationary (books, pens, use of calculator and resources), whistles (where applicable), and most importantly, the amazing experience. 

A $500.00 deposit is required when making a booking as spaces are limited. Corporate rates and group pricing is also available.

Deposits are fully refundable if your booking is canceled within more than 7 days’ notice. If the booking is canceled within seven or less days’ notice, then only 50% of the booking fee is refundable.

 

The full course fee must be paid prior to the final licensing assessment and prior to issuing any official course outcome documentation (Statement of Attainment, Notice of Satisfactory Assessment/Assessment Summary). In the event that we have not received the full payment, we will withhold the documentation which will be sent via Registered Mail upon receipt of payment, at no additional cost.

Upon completion of the course, the participant will be issued a statement of attainment in the above unit. Participants who do not satisfactorily complete the course in the first attempt have 90 days from the course completion to undertake a second and third attempt at the assessment at an additional cost (to be determined on a case-by-case basis).  Participants who wait longer than 90 days to undertake the second attempt will need to re-enrol in the course and pay the full course fee.
