Training Combined courses are specifically designed for the construction industry.

To be eligible to enrol in our training program, participants must be:
  • over 18 years of age
  • satisfactorily complete our English assessment
  • able to provide photo identification
  • physically fit and not have any physical conditions that would preclude holding a driver’s licence.
All units of competency delivered by us are nationally recognised and can only be delivered by a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) that complies with the governing standards of quality control and quality training and assessment.

Assessment is based on competency i.e. ability to perform tasks to a required standard. Assessment is conducted through a combination of practical demonstration, class discussions, verbal questioning and written testing.

The outcome of this training program will be:
  • Statement of Attainment for a relevant Unit of competency
  • Nationally recognized SafeWork NSW 60 day interim certificate,
  • Certificate of Competency will be issued by SafeWork NSW within the 60 day period upon submitting valid application.

Most of our training programs are delivered over five (5) consecutive days, consisting of 4 days training and 1 day’s assessment at Training Combined Training’s premises in Clyde (theory) and Regents Park NSW (performance part). See individual course description pages for details on each course.

The 9 hour long days consist of 8 hours training, 2 x 15 min tea breaks and a 30 minute lunch break and while training normally starts at 7.30 am, start and meal times are flexible.

Participants should plan to spend up to 2 hours per night reviewing their handouts, reviewing their learning materials and if need arises, contact your Trainer/Assessor who will be able to assist you on addressing any learning needs that you may have.

Maximum class size is 6 people.

While we can support you with some English language skills, should your needs for support or assistance exceed our skills, we will refer you to a suitable organisation to assist you further, this may be TAFE local to you.

Our courses and programs can also be delivered on-site for our corporate and private clients wishing to minimise workplace disruption, whilst maximising opportunity and the efficiency of training. Evening and weekend courses are also available by arrangement. We aim to accommodate your work commitments without compromising the quality of your training.

Training Combined recognises that the cost of paying a course upfront can seem overwhelming. To help our students manage this hurdle, a few of our courses are available on a payment plan. To talk to one of our team members about a payment plan, contact by any contact means provided within this site.
